New Delhi. Sharad Sankla whom you and we know as Abdul of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. The actor has been a part of the show for a long time. Recently he talked about Dayaben’s return in Taarak Mehta… and his relationship with the show’s producer Asit Modi. Sharad Sankla had come to participate in a podcast named The Awara Musafir. On this show, he made many interesting revelations and told that his relationship with Asit Modi is very special. He has been with them since the first show.
Regarding his relationship with Asit Modi, producer of the sitcom show ‘Taarak Mehta…’, he says that both of them are very old friends. Everyone knows that he and Asit Modi are friends. He says, ‘Both of us had worked together in the very first show of Neela Tele Films. In a way, I proved to be lucky for him, because his production house was started with me. He says that Asit Modi considers him as his lucky charm.
‘Abdul”s overflowing pain
Recalling the initial phase of his career, Sharad says that when he started acting, he was often seen in small roles only. In those days, he used to get only the role of the hero’s friend. Then gradually things changed and comedy roles started gaining importance. Gradually comedians started getting better roles. He says that it was not possible for him to refuse any character at that time.
Abdul’s big statement on Dayaben’s return
On Dayaben’s return to the show, Sharad Sankla says that he does not think that Dayaben’s return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is possible, but nothing can be said right now. He says that Asit Modi does not want any actor to leave the show. It has been 8 years since Disha Vakani, seen in the role of Dayaben, left the show and the audience has been waiting for her for the last 8 years.
He further says that like the audience, Asit Modi is also waiting for his return. According to Abdul, if she returns to the show then it will be great and if she does not return then the makers will find some other way to move forward.
