New Delhi. Colors TV’s new reality show ‘The 50’ had a grand debut on Sunday, February 1 and the very first episode filled the audience with tremendous thrill. This unique format show, which started with 50 contestants, saw tough competition on the very first day, where strategy, strength and teamwork were put to real test.
In the first episode of the show, 10 contestants were chosen as captains. Rajat Dalal, Mr. Faizu, Prince Narula, Monalisa, Riddhi Dogra, Shiv Thackeray, Nikki Tamboli, Krishna Shroff, Karan Patel and Urvashi Dholakia became the captains. All the captains got a chance to form their own team and each captain chose a team of 5-5 members. After this, the teams were given red and blue cards, in which the team with the blue card got the special power that it could choose the opposing team of its choice.
There was a tough fight on the very first day
Many high-voltage matches were seen on the first day itself. Rajat Dalal’s team faced Mr. Faizu’s team, while Prince Narula and Monalisa’s teams faced each other. Shiv Thackeray challenged Riddhi Dogra’s team, while a fierce competition was seen between Nikki Tamboli and Krishna Shroff. Apart from this, the teams of Karan Patel and Urvashi Dholakia also clashed with each other, which added tremendous drama and excitement to the show.
Himesh Reshammiya gave surprise
Music icon Himesh Reshammiya arrived to add glamor and surprise to the show. His entry made the atmosphere even more special. Himesh sang a song on the stage and as soon as the performance ended, the competitions started. His twist made the show more entertaining.
This contestant was eliminated on the first day
After the task, five teams emerged as winners. The teams of Shiv Thackeray, Prince Narula, Karan Patel, Krishna Shroff and Mr. Faizu won their respective matches. However, with the victory came a big responsibility. The winning captains had to decide to eliminate one member from the five losing teams from the show. After mutual consent, everyone decided to eliminate contestant Vanshaj Singh.
