Yogesh Tripathi celebrates Diwali with great enthusiasm every year.New Delhi. The festival of Diwali is being celebrated across the country today i.e. on 20th October. People from the world of cinema are also busy celebrating this festival. Many TV stars shared their memories related to this festival and told how they used to celebrate Diwali in their childhood. This includes names ranging from Yogesh Tripathi to Paras Arora.
Actor Yogesh Tripathi is known for playing Inspector Happu Singh in the show ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’. He told what Diwali means to him. He said that for him Diwali means reviving childhood memories. Yogesh said, ‘Being brought up in Uttar Pradesh, we used to start preparations several days in advance. Used to clean the house, color lamps, and make Gujhiya with mother.
Yogesh Tripathi worships Lakshmi-Ganesh
He further said, ‘Even today I continue these small traditions with my family. I light lamps in every corner of the house and worship Lakshmi-Ganesh with the children. After the puja, we all enjoy home-cooked food and burst some eco-friendly crackers together. Diwali brings back in me the same enthusiasm and innocence that I felt in my childhood. For me, this festival means celebrating light, family and gratitude.
Diwali has always been a favorite festival
Paras Arora will soon be seen playing the role of Jeetu in &TV’s upcoming show ‘Gharwali Pedwali’. He told that Diwali has always been his favorite festival. It brings everyone together. He said, ‘In the village, we start the day by doing puja with the family and decorating the house with fresh marigold flowers. My mother and I make rangoli at the entrance of the house. The aroma of home-made sweets spreads everywhere. One tradition that we never give up is lighting lamps on the balcony and terrace. When the whole neighborhood lights up together, it looks magical.
Paras Arora will celebrate Diwali on the set of the show
This year Paras will be busy shooting. He said, ‘I am planning to celebrate on the sets with the family of the serial ‘Gharwali Pedwali’. This will be a Diwali full of laughter, light and togetherness.
