NDTV was quoted by sources as saying that Prem Sagar was ill for some time. In such a situation, he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai for treatment. On Sunday, doctors advised him to take him home and he died on Sunday morning. His last rites have been performed at 3 pm today at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai.
