He narrated an old incident related to this, when a person could not recognize him and started calling himself his brother. Through this experience, Sunil said that in good times people show kinship, while in bad times even their own people distance themselves.

New Delhi. Sunil Lahiri, who is still remembered for the role of ‘Lakshman’ in Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Ramayana’. Her role with Arun Govil was liked so much that some people actually considered her as God. The actor recently shared an interesting anecdote, which refreshed the memories of his old days. Through social media, he narrated an incident which is as funny as it sounds and also gives a deep lesson.

Sunil Lahiri told that a few days ago a person came to meet him in his building. He was trying to get inside by pretending to be their relative, but the security guard became suspicious of him. Upon investigation it was found that the person was lying and he was sent back. This incident took Sunil straight to the days of shooting of ‘Ramayana’.

Sunil Lahiri narrated a funny story

While sharing old memories, he said that once during the shooting, after working in the sun for the whole day, his face had become quite tanned. Meanwhile, when he got a few days leave, he did not even shave his beard and had oiled his hair. While he was strolling near the gate of the studio, a man came to him and said that he wanted to meet ‘Sunil Lahiri’.
