He gained tremendous popularity with ‘Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai’ and within no time he became one of the most favorite romantic faces of TV. After this he did many successful shows one after the other. His characters created a special identity in serials like ‘Kavyanjali’, ‘Kahin To Hoga’, ‘Waris’, ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ and ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’. He even made his presence felt in the reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’.

Gave up acting due to Corona

During the Covid era, Iqbal stayed away from the small screen for some time, but made a comeback with equal strength. With ‘Na Age Ki Seema Ho’ he once again proved that his place is still intact in the hearts of TV viewers. Today Iqbal is active not only on television but also on OTT platforms.
