New Delhi. Writer Manoj Santoshi, who wrote comedy serials like ‘Jijaji Chhat Par Hai’, ‘Happu Ki Olon Paltan’, died on Monday. He was suffering from liver cancer for some time, but he lost the battle of life during treatment. According to the information, he breathed his last in his hometown Aligarh. His family members were with him at the time of his death.

A source associated with the show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ informed India Forums about the death of Manoj Santoshi and said, ‘Manoj died this morning in his hometown Aligarh. His family members were with him. However, till now the news of the death of the writer has neither shared the production house nor the actors of ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai’.
Manoj Santoshi was struggling with liver cancer
Last month, news came that Manoj Santoshi is struggling with liver cancer. Actress Kavita Kaushik, actress of the show ‘FIR’ show, appealed to pray for her early recovering on Instagram handle. He wrote that producer Binafar Kohli and actress Shilpa Shinde are standing with him in this difficult time and taking care of them.
