The show’s contestant and reality TV star Prince Narula gave a controversial statement regarding social media influencers on the show, saying that he does not know acting and in the name of acting, he cannot act for more than 12 seconds. Many digital creators considered his statement an insult to their profession and also gave sharp reactions to it.

While talking about reel culture during the conversation in the show, Prince Narula had jokingly said that the acting of social media influencers cannot last more than 12 seconds. He was referring to the short video format, but this comment went down well with many people. Especially social media influencers called it a statement that belittles one’s work and hard work.

Adnan Sheikh reacted to Prince’s statement

Content creator Adnan Shaikh, who was recently evicted from the show, has also given his reaction on this issue. When asked about this statement of actor and reality show star Prince Narula in an interview given to Zoom, he said that it is not easy to create an identity on social media. Adnan said, ‘Nobody gave us anything for free. We had no contacts. We did all this while working. God supported, luck supported and there was hard work too. Otherwise lakhs of people like us do the same work.

Adnan also admitted that when he saw this statement of Prince after coming out of the show, he got very angry. He said that Prince had never said such a thing before and he also never said anything wrong about him. Adnan further said, ‘We never said that he is just a TV actor or something else. Every field has its own struggle and hard work.

Faiz got angry at Prince Narula

Social media influencer Faiz Baloch has also given his reaction on this controversy. In an interview given to Free Press Journal, he said that the working environment of actors and influencers is different and it is not right to compare the two. Faiz Baloch said that just as digital creators never comment on the careers of actors, similarly actors should also not judge social media creators.

Expressing displeasure over Prince Narula’s statement, he further said, ‘What if we make a video? You also make it. If you think it is so easy then you also stop coming on social media and appear only on TV.
